EA Sports have unveiled the cover star of EA FC 26's Ultimate Edition, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to return to the franchise. The former AC Milan, Barcelona, and Manchester United striker is likely to receive an Icon card, one of the rarest types of card in the game.

The promotional image also shows a computer behind Zlatan, and on the screen is United States Women's National Team legend Alex Morgan, all but confirming that she will also return to the series as either an Icon or a Hero. Brazil legend Ronaldo Nazario also features prominently, as EA throw it back to a previous picture of Ibrahimovic when he was interviewed in his childhood bedroom.

Ibrahimovic retired in 2023, and enjoyed a staggering goalscoring record when he was a player. In total, the 43-year-old scored 496 goals and registered 203 assists in 827 career appearances. His most prolific spell came with PSG, where he netted 156 goals in 180 games.
