WHAT HAPPENED?
According to L'Equipe, Marseille have enquired about the 24-year-old – who is set to become a free agent this summer. The report states Roberto De Zerbi's team have now made a contract offer for the England international.

Ever since it became clear that Gomes would not sign a new deal at Lille, he has been left out of the first-team. United, Liverpool, and Arsenal have been linked with the ex-Red Devils player but so far it seems Marseille have stolen a march on the Premier League sides.
