Luiz was named in Brazil's 26-man squad for their upcoming international friendlies against England and Spain on March 23 and 26, respectively. The Aston Villa star was last seen in action for Selecao in their 2026 World Cup qualifying game against arch-rivals Argentina on November 22.

She was on target for her side in the first friendly as Switzerland registered a thumping 4-1 win. In the second match, though, Poland got their revenge as they won the clash 1-0.
