WHAT HAPPENED?
Alba found the back of the net in the 80th minute, sparking a small comeback attempt late in the game, but it was not enough to get the Herons a point on the day. His strike, however, was a special one – and a trademark finish from the Spaniard, who may not score too often, but when it does it tends to be spectacular!

“Fireworks were always going to go off and on around the stadium because there’s quality all over the field… The ball bounces around, but how about this for technique, how about this for quality, and how about this from Jordi Alba. One of the best left foots you will ever see," he said.

Lionel Messi missed the match due to 'rest,' while both Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez were both benched due to minutes accumulation and rotation ahead of a big midweek match. The Herons struggled without their superstars, but Alba returned to the XI after one-match away and was sensational.
