Sporting CP ace Viktor Gyokeres is one step closer to an Arsenal transfer after being pictured in a private jet ahead of a reported medical in London.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Gyokeres and his agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, are heading to the English capital to complete a medical ahead of a move to Arsenal. He adds that the Swede 'only' had his eyes on a Gunners switch.

Arsenal have already agreed on a £64 million (€73.8m/$86.3m) deal for the 27-year-old, and now the last pieces of the puzzle are coming together. The Gunners have, arguably, been in desperate need of an out-and-out number nine, and now they are seemingly set to sign this prolific striker in a statement signing.
